Who is Fiona SanFrancisco?

"Finding Fiona SanFrancisco" is a Geography unit for students of grades 3-6 with a secret agent theme. Each student takes on the role of a secret agent tasked with capturing Fiona SanFrancisco and her gang of horrible evil henchman and henchwomen who circle the globe committing dastardly crimes.

She can only be stopped by a hard working group of 3rd-6th grade students who can learn the locations of U.S. states, cities and countries around the world to be able to track Fiona and her gang and put them in their rightful place, behind bars.

Through its engaging theme and challenging missions your students will tackle geography with a high level of motivation and will learn more locations around the world than you ever thought possible.

What is the unit all about?

The primary objective of the unit is for students to learn the locations of major world countries, cities and U.S. states. The unit accomplishes this by tasking students to learn particular locations in order to accomplish a variety of exciting missions.

The ten solo missions are a set of progressively more difficult individual quizzes that challenge students to learn a particular geographic area. The twenty agency missions are an in-class group challenge. Each group of students tracks a criminal across three worldwide locations and determines the perpetrator from a list of suspects.

The unit culminates in a climactic final week where the class works together to uncover the final clues to Fiona's Identity and capture her once and for all. Learn More
